What do you make of that video they watched in the hatch about pushing the button?
Here is a link to the video: http://img274.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... ion8rw.swf
It was interesting that there were polar bears in the video and they killed a polar bear early in season one on the island. What the hell is a polar bear doing in tropical weather? This has to be some kind of experiment...psychological or electromagnetic...
Also, towards the end of the video, the scientist says "it is very important that you do not attempt to use the computer for anything but....THEN IT CUTS OUT HERE...
and he says good luck and the future of the project is in your hands until the replacements come.
Well...Desmond was in there for 1 and a half years longer than expected, his partner Kelvin died and now he is running through the jungle.
I wonder what will come of all this! Very interesting show.

This is the forum that is actually sponsored by the producers. I think it is the most coherent site for discussing the show. They (the writers) appear to be leading us on a wild goose chase and there are too many inconsistencies with this new story line for me. If Desmond was stranded on the island and "conned" into pressing the button, why did he not venture out to find out who was banging on his hatch. He said the original guy in the hatch found him in such a way...when the pc was shot and it he took off...he's on an island..where is he going to go?
..have you seen all the websites popping up of the Dharma project, etc...(rather than spending the time...go to the fuselage and you can check them out).

Well, it's been a while. Season 2 has been awesome so far. Last night episode wasn't the best so far, but there have been some great ones thus far.

I usually work on Wednesday nights, and I don't have a VCR anymore so I've missed a lot of the episodes this season. I'm gonna have to wait for DVD to get caught up.

Ok after last night i'm in on the master plan- mega-corp idea. Something about Dharma corp & gifted kids - Walt, Aaron, Rosseau's daughter, (&assuming last nights tease for next week - Sun & Jin's kid) everyone else is either egg/sperm carriers for more of these kids. I missed the first few minutes of last night though, how did Claire suddenly become taken in by Ethan? Anyone catch that?

Very good synopsys. I agree that the Hanso foundation is still quite active and part of some big skinner box experiment, perhaps governementally funded. The losties are being selected (the list Ethan never got to finish) they are selecting people with certain traits (parapsychological). This is true especially in chidren; which are more maleable than adults. Perhaps they are all carriers of the supposed "infection" and the others are working on a cure using all the aspects of the hanso foundation...electromagnetism, biology, parapsy, etc...
I bought a Tivo specifically for this show...it was made for it. Watch the episode a second time and you see a whole different aspect...spooky...on many different levels.

Finale night! woot. For those who have been watching...enjoy. And for those without TIVO, what to do Lost or Idol?

Lost. I don't watch lost, but with idol, all you need to see is the final two minutes during results shows.

Who needs TIVO when you live in Atlantic time?

We've already seen the whole show! So for those of you who are waiting for another time zone ~ now why'd they bring Hurley if they were just gonna do that!?

& is Desmond dead or NOT?!

Not only is Desmond dead, but what about Locke? And Eko? And will Michael and Walt really be rescued?
I don't get the Hurley thing either. Will he even be able to find his way back?
So many questions, so many months to wait for answers.

That was a great finale -- it answered just enough questions to make it feel satisfying and left us with a KILLER cliffhanger with tons of questions -- good second season all around!

I don't think Desmond is dead. His girlfriend is involved now, I don't hink he will be killed off. I know it seemed that way but.... you know the island

I stopped watching basketball in '86 when Larry the Legend last won the title...hasn't been the same since for me.
The finale was great...what the hell was that 4 toed foot statue? That added a whole new twist. A lot of questions were answered, but more were asked. You know Kate, Jack, and Sawyer can't die...I thought that wa skinda poor, but it makes for a good premier next year. I like how it brought claire and chaz, Sun and Jin, Desomnd and Kelvin, all back into the story line...all missed from season one. Have you all been to the hanso website...did you see Jimmy Kimmel? The way this show is being marketed is simply brilliant.
