and a four year gap between posts -

So where is it now, no longer do you hear the media's daily death stats (reduced in the shadow of the surge), yet the total US casualty count is just a caribou away from 4000 (over five years)....

I was flying through Chicago last week and I had a couple of hours between flights and I shit you not I counted 5 young men missing limbs, and it's not like they were walking together, they were all walking by themselves. Except for one guy, he was wheeling himself around as both of his legs were missing.

It made my heart sink.

4000 American soldiers are dead and God only knows how many Iraqi civilians have died...hundreds of thousands??? And for every 100 that have died how many are walking around that are now dismembered...I bet we'll never hear that number published.

I would consider myself a Conservative, politically speaking, but to see all of this nonsense really makes me angry

you know how W.duh will sometimes confuse his words, he probably meant to say mission embellished and then mission incompetence

Sean,

Here's an article that ran in the 3/25 New York Times that I think EVERY American should read. (And if Canadians want to read it too, all the better!) The number 4,000+ seems distant and abstract. This puts a face on six.

PBS is running a series that started Sunday night called appropriately "Bushes War".

We have no business there, period. There will never be peace in Iraq, so why keep adding to the death toll.

Don't kid yourselves, we have never taken our eye off of North Korea.

And the less we know about what is going on there via our biased media, the less the enemy knows, they are everywhere. No one really believes that we know everything that is going on do they? Get real.
