The Mod Club is easily the nicest-looking venue in Toronto. I was there this week and I was very impressed. It reminds me of the Commodore in Vancouver, although without the springy floor, and a balcony that's not quite as swanky.

That should be a great show!

I think it would hold more than 300, though. When the Hip did the pre-Olympic show at Lee's Palace they let 500 in, and I'm sure the Mod Club can hold more than Lee's could.

They squeezed 900 people into the Commodore for The Hip's show there in 2000.

Mod Club sounds ok.. Lee's Palace would be the best.. except yeah the bathrooms are upstairs...

If it's Alan Cross hosting.. AWESOME

~and then there is the option of staying home and listening on the radio :wink: and then 2 days later The amphitheatre..

I thought if June 29 was a nice sunny day.. I would take off to the beach with my discman and *In Between Evolution*
