I just thought of something.. If the Toronto Show is the day *In Between Evolution* is released.. I gather it will be a tie in with the World Premier of.. Anyone know or guess which radio station will host this event? This we should try to figure out and start listening to this station to stand behind their efforts Big Grin

I would hope it would be Y108 out of Hamilton.. perhaps Mike Tyler.. The only reason why I would hope is, Y108 seems to be the middle ground between The Edge and Q107.. and Y108 has been most supportive of The Tragically Hip and Tragically Hip Fans..

Last night at Big Buck's (Burlington) the dj played *Vaccination Scar* it sounded so great to hear this song in a club.. it's a shame they didn't have a video system.. it would have been great to see the video too..
And The Trews briefly covered The Hip classic.. *New Orleans Is Sinking* soooo cooool!

hip in big bucks is a rare thing, the girls usaually dont know what to do when non dance music comes on, great fun to watch. I been to Bucks alot of times and only ever heard killer whale tank( about 4 times) which is fantastic to hear with 500 ppl.

Too funny... I knew what to do.. I CHEERED... YAHOOO!! THE TRAGICALLY HIP!!

I guess it's great that The Hip are handling the tickets through TheHip.com..
I don't think many of us listen to Q107.. I was a very loyal listener til about 1997.. and today.. I get bored listening to Q.. well, as soon as we find out for sure.. I will switch over.. and if it is Q107, I really hope they have Andy Frost MC as it's because of Andy Frost.. I first heard of The Tragically Hip back in 1987.. Andy is so so supportive of all Canadian Rock Bands especially The Hip..

I remember listening to *In Violet Light* World Premier.. and absolutely hated Jeff Woods after listening to this feature.. :x C'est La Vie.. they finally ousted him..

Mod Club? I guess this will be an Edge Event then.. Geez.. I am never impressed with the way Edge handles their events..
They really seem to lack a Toronto Rock Spirit.. Something Q107 worked diligently on throughout the '80's and why Q107 was #1 in Toronto ...

Well, Edge it is I guess Big Grin

Who cares who handles the event?!?! The Mod Club is a great place anyways!!! Good luck getting tickets though. You're lucky if 300 people fit in there. Don't we all just wanna see thehip play anyways?!?!?!?!?
