I was just making a joke meaning that if I was there, I would be a prompter.
But I have seen one before, and he didn't seem to need it.
He would look at that, probably just because it was there.
Do you really need a prompt to the At The Hundredth Meridian lyrics after playing it every single show last tour? Doubt 'er.

This is true. May not rely on it for all songs but it's certainly been there. Springsteen uses one and Eddie Vedder always has notes, especially for songs Pearl Jam doesn't play often.

He had one for the FC shows I saw -- which did not stop him from messing up Music@Work in Vermont, which was then pretty funny -- "just keep it going boys, bring it around and I'll catch up"

It would be nice if they could pull out some gems but I do not expect them to that. This is their last chance to play songs they haven't played in years and years and years!
