And from what you wrote you slightly pissed off and not happy about the album purchase options and the bonus songs..well what do you think were bitching about, the same shit. At least were not afraid to speak up about it, I dont care who likes it I say what I want regardless.

And as for Tiger and his bitching, so what, I dont always agree with him but at least he's interesting, if not for people like him this would be one of the most boring forums on the web.

Here's a way the Hip could "stop the bitchin" -- emulate what Phish (who had plenty of ticket glitches of its own) is doing with its tour kick-off shows...

I think people need to realize that the Tragically Hip is a corporation, a business, etc, and must act as such in order to play the game with industry exec's. They were a business partnership from day one when Robbie's dad invested their earnings in property (Cayman Islands). Yes, it must be nice that Gord Downie has a million dollar summer home on Indian Point that is used probably half the year, while others work six-seven days a week and never see their homes/or families. But, we live with the freedom to choose whether or not to buy the concert tickets, records,etc, that ultimately pay for the rock star lifestyle. Actually, 49.50 for balcony seats at Massey Hall isnt too bad. However, I have heard other prices that see inconcievable for the financial times we are going through. What really pisses me off is that some scalper asshole is selling front row centre at Massey for $500 bucks on ebay. How can we avoid this? I know the Hip do not approve. To be continued.
