That is freaking amazing Mark. That'll take a good week to download, lol.

Very nice of you to share the whole thing in one torrent.

Jamie

"wow" to say the least. That's monumental.
thanx for the hard work and dedication, mark.

OK, I don’t use the tracker (don’t have DVD burner, among other excuses) but my curiosity is killing me, what is it????

ahhhhh....nice!! thanks

Damn, its half the size of my HD... lol (Thats right 19GB on this ancient bad boy... Boooyaaahh)

That would be a sweet pick-up for sure though

- chris - 12-11-2006

This is all audio, so you don't need a DVD burner. In fact, most of the content on the tracker is audio only.

As well, you don't have to burn the shows to DVD to watch them - there are lots of software options for viewing the DVD video files.

And 19Gb... yikes. I'm just getting by with 1200Gb. And I think markslog is probably tight with his 10,000Gb....

Oh I know chris, that's why I wrote "amoung other excuses" one of those being lack of my own personal computer (I use my work/sometimes parents)

Thanks for the thought though :thumb:

Aw jeez. I want portions of this so bad, but I'd have to clear so much shit out in order to get it. Plus it would take like a week to download. Any chance of dividing it up by city, even?

Download Azureus or another torrent client that lets you choose what you want to download. For example, if you just want the Calgary shows, then it lets you just download the Calgary shows.

LOL yeah, 19Gb is the suck... 1200Gb and 10,000Gb... Damn thats a hell of alot of space lol

I've read that downloading a decent portion of a fairly large torrent and afterwards staying on as a seed can boost your ratio quickly. If you downloaded just the Calgary shows as Sean mentioned for instance and continued to seed those particular parts of the overall torrent, it is supposed to increase your share ratio quicker than usual.

Someone else with some BT knowledge might be able to confirm this, but the theory of it makes sense to me.

- daylight - 12-12-2006

I had no idea that was possible - this totally revolutionises my torrenting habits (provided I can figure it out)! Thanks for the suggestion, I guess that's what I get for assuming all BT clients were alike. No more killing my Oink ratio by downloading entire best-ofs/soundtracks for just one song! Awesome.

- chris - 12-12-2006

Speaking of Oink... anyone wanna send an invite my way? It seems that I didn't visit regularly enough and my account got deleted. Sad

But sticking with this thread, it is very easy to select just the file components that you want in Azurues - just double click on the torrent in the main window and a whole slew of options open up to you.
