IMO, i'd rather here Leave i think...that's a wonderful tune...also presumably on the subject of death...i'm starving for just about anything off of IVL though, they didn't play Sudbury on any of the IVL tours...and the only one i've heard to date is Silver Jet...which as a cool tune...but i desperately need to hear The Darkest One!
Congrats to all that witnessed that. That would have been amazing. It's one of my favorites. What's with all the rarities? Maybe they're just trying to spice up the sets....not playing NOIS and ATHM. It's good to spice it up.
I could have swore I've heard fiddler's before but I guess now that must have been my imagination, too many shows to remember from.
deadparrot - those seem to be constant, I think I've only ever not heard NOIS once and I'm glad that it sounds good again. ATHM has been their money song for the last few years for sure
Just to let everyone know, they played Fidler's again tonight in Vancouver... fricking amazing... now if only I hadn't been 2nd best in getting a set list twice.....
They play it once and it gets six pages; they play it a second time and it gets one post.
Like 38 Years Old -- they play it in the summer and we're all wetting our pants, now it shows up in setlists and nobody bats an eyelash.

well, yeah, but they weren't too speechless to write 6 pages of posts about it the first time. Perhaps a bit of a delayed speechlessness is now setting in.

that is so cool, well i doubt it will come up in rotation for the 1st show in Montreal on Nov 9th if ever again. Nevertheless this show is gonna rock.
I'm hoping they save it for the second Montreal show, cause that's the one I'm gonna be at

...it was one year ago today.
I just saw them play it last night! (two nights ago).
It was pretty awesome. They've definitely gotten into the swing of playing it on this tour, it sounds fantastic.
meh, i could go withput seeing fiddlers live.
A year ago today, they played Fiddler's for the first time live in Calgary...and I remember it like it was yesterday. It truly was an amazing experience to have been there....too bad my ex-girlfriend was with me, 'cause it kinda ruins the memory to an extent. Oh well, it was special.
