I tried some "Boddingtons" this weekend. I've never heard of it before, but I must say, I found it rather tasty and it was unlike any other beer I have ever had before in my young, inexperienced beer-tasting life.

Big Fan of Big Rock Traditional Ale.
Also if you are looking for something a little different but equally as good, try Bass Ale from the UK. Tasty!!

Definitely. Bass is a lovely pint.
Not as good as the local brew round my way: Harveys. That stuff is outstanding!

harp is probably my favourite beer from the tap. guinness and stella are my second choices. harp is a lager from dublin. my favourite from a can is lowenbrau. second choice is warsteiner.

Gotta agree with Zenith... Harveys is a good pint!!
Lately, much to the disgust of my gut... I've been drinking far too much cider!

What Cider have you been on, Matt? I hope you haven't been sucked in by the Magners marketing.
Do you get Harveys down in Portsmouth then?

Bells from Kalamazoo Michigan is excellent. Had 3 kegs of it at my wedding in Missouri.... they didn't know what hit them! Fat Tire from out in Colorado is excellent as well. They do a pilsner called blue canoe or blue paddle.... something like that... tres bien!!! Heinken is also a great traditional standby!
