whats your favourite brand? lately i find myself drinking alot of Moosehead. :thumb:
Moosehead is excellent...

Keith's is still my favourite...i like MGD, Ex, Heini's, Becks, Grolsch (their Amber Ale is amazing, but they stopped making it Sad), Rickard's Red, Stella Artois, Smithwicks, Busch, i prefer Cold Shots to normal Canadian...they're nice and chuggable...

I <3 BEER!

also, i have to say, I'm a fan of the sub-zero beer on tap at Boston Pizza...even if they only offer it in Coors Light and Canadian...i like Coors Light on tap...so watery, haha, i could drink it forever.
Big Rock Traditional Ale

Sooooooooooooo good.
always Moosehead! :thumb:

i was having a beer with this dude this summer and his friend strolled in with a case of laker (or lakeport? or lucky? god knows) and dude said "is that stuff good?"

guy's reply: "it's not bad for a buck a bottle."

dude's reply: "um, i don't want 'not bad.'"
m-m-m-m-m-m my Corona
I bought a case of bohemian along with the usual suspects for Christmas 2004, I needed to see if saving approx. $15 a case was justified. Anyone want a bohemian, I have I think 21 in the cold room! Wouldn't even marinate my steak in that!

and this is golden,

agreed...some people think it's some sort of "i'm above buck-a-beer angle" but to be honest i wish i liked it. but it's just gawd awful...all of it.

lucky-laker-lakeport-bo'-carling...good god.

when i have parties there are sometimes leftovers...the young ins bring carling and i swear it actually "lasts" in my fridge. for beer, that's saying something...

SWILL.
Great topic!

You know how Kokanee is always pushing the fact they brew with water straight from the glacier....well similarly, lakeport is brewed with water from the steel factory refuse of beautiful Hamilton harbour. I wonder why they don't put that in the commercials eh? That's why it's only a buck a beer!

In terms of good stuff, there's just so much out there...I'm really into European beer right now...Stella, Warsteiner, Erdinger, etc. For domestics, Moosehead, Keith's, and Big Rock Grasshopper are my staples.

Best beer I ever had though was Hofbrau...at the Hofbrauhaus in Munich. But that may be just because I was so enamored with the fact they served it in 1 Litre steins!
