even though they lost i thought the niners looked surprisingly good today!!! alex smith looks like he's come a long way during the off-season..perhaps this won't be as bleak a year as i'd thought
and it's always nice to see the packers get destroyed

My season in hell has already begun....
If this is what awaits us for the rest of the season, Miller is going to see a biiiiiiig increase in their sales

My thoughts exactly.
I miss watching my Eagles.
At least I got to watch the bottom line scroll past as I watched the Bengals. How did Donovan look yesterday?? Has any of his confidence returned?

He looked good - healthy and happy. The first quarter had me concerned, but they bounced back.

That's good to hear! :jump
I was nervous only seeing the score. I never would have thought that freaking Houston would have taken the early lead. My stomach hit the floor with that one. However, as usual, Esthete reminded me to remain calma nd that things would work themselves out. I think I need to listen to him more often!

the eagles beat houston, and had trouble doing it..i wouldn't be too excited
no smack to talk yet...it's disappointing that my phins couldn't beat the Steelers without BR at QB, but they're still a very tough opponent without him...it's only week 1 though, still a lot of football left to play...i'm not gonna worry. BRING ON THE BILLS! :rambo:
i did my buddy's picks for his pool at work, and i did fucking terrible this week! worst i've ever done! i picked Oakland, Washington, Dallas, Houston, Tennesse, Denver, and TB, LOL! OUCH!
So for this week my record was 13-3. Not too shabby a start! I'm going to wait a while to make my week 2 pics though.
I was 10-6
Don't you hate looking at the winners and thinking:
"duh - I knew I should have picked that team"
9-7 this week. Could have been worse.
