what program do you need to play this format, .mov?
never seen that one
Quicktime Media Player

you can get it from http://www.apple.com
thanks lance, i had been trying for a ages to view the file.
does that format work on vcd's with mpegs, or do you need to convert it?
I believe that the file can be converted, but it is already compressed video format. The quality of the vcd or mpeg might suffer. Try http://www.vcdhelp.com/ for more info.
Thanks again Lance
Lance, last help here hopefully

this is where it says to put it

To convert from QuickTime MOV videos you must download the QTReader.vfp and copy it to the TMPGEnc folder

i use nero, and i'm just not sure where to put this .vfp?

you need to have TMPGEnc first. you get that program and put that file in the TMPGEnc folder. you then use TMPGEnc to convert the .mov to VCD and use nero to burn the VCD.

just remember, crap in = crap out. don't expect great quality.
Thanks Mark
Yea, what Mark said
well i was able to convert to mpeg, but no sound. Looks like i have everything the way it should be set up, any thoughts?
