Seems as good a place to post as any, but the new Menomena album Moms contains both the line "I once was tragically hip and beautifully fine" and a song titled Giftshoppe. Coincidence? Probably. But an interesting one nonetheless.

NOIS Mount Saint Louis Moonstone ski resort. Skiing, snow, a cold Kokanee, and Hip, doesn't get much better than that

Twist - Leafs vs Habs on TSN, announcer said "bite my finger, twist my arm", reference to bitegate the last time these two teams played 8)

Fully Completely, almost the entire song for the HNIC opening segment for the Leafs\Bruins game on May 4th. Leafs went on to win 4-2 :thumb:

Knowing Ron MacClean's liking of the band it's likely not the last Hip song CBC will play during the playoffs.

I nearly dropped dead! I've heard the hip twice in public here in Seattle, once NOIS on KNDD radio station. Then yesterday, while browsing the frozen section in Fred Meyer (a "superstore") and Courage comes over the store music system!
I was in heaven!

Great to hear Nautical opening for the Montreal @ Boston game tonight, along with Ron MacLean's comments it was pretty cool.
