True enough, but I would rather pay for a cd of the show than d/l ripped shn's. I wouldnt buy every show from the tour, only the one I went to. I would d/l shows I wasnt at though.

if it was available, i would download the entire tour, but only if it was free. i *might* pay for the shn's if i was at the show.
i am spoiled by the DMB community which has such amazing recordings available within days of the show. and this is from people taping from the crowd. nothing is released from the band except for the odd live cd or DVD.
over antsmarching.org they have over 500 shows in SHN format for free download. it is easy to get spoiled.
Antsmarching.org has a amazing setup! A great community
well i finally got the dundas square show and i got to say it sounds pretty good, realy good, not sure what the fussin and a feudin is over shn's and other ways of gettin it,but it seems to me that they are doing us a favor by giving us these clean sounding versions of these gigs,i for one give it 3 thumbs up

You could convert these to shn after d/l the mp3's but the damage has already been done. Check out this link for some help on shn faq's

I read this on a thread on ateaseweb.com (a radiohead site similar to this one)
"leif erikson: trying to get really high quality out of the mp3 format is like spending millions on streamlining a Lada. If you really care about quality...use a better format."
made me laugh
I emailed about Yer Posessed being MIA from the bootleg and here was the response I received:
You are absolutely right, Yer Possessed was played at the show.
Due to the length of the performance, they were not able to fit the whole show on one CD where it was being recorded. When the recording engineer swapped CDs, it got cut off and there was not enough of the song to salvage.
Thanks for your input.
