Am I the only person who sees a problem with this so called benefit? This is great if you have a computer at work, but what if you don't? Even the sales to the general public are on sale in the middle of the week. What happened to the days when tickets to every show went on sale on Sat. morning and you waited out all night? These kids today have it way to easy.Sorry for the bitching,just feeling a little cheated is all.

The bigger problem is that scalpers and ebayers can sign up the same as fans do for this first-in-line ticket access. At least if it was a paid membership you would have to put up some money up front to help weed out scalpers and casual fans from being so-called "Fan Club Members".
And how can everyone be first in line? There can only be one first in line. Everyone else is second in line, third in line, fourth in line, etc.

You failed to mention the third category of fans - the fake fan (eg. thehip11, etc.).
Fake fans claim to be real fans, but true real fans can tell the difference.

You don't think that someone who has followed the band, bought all their albums and spent hundreds or thousands of dollars deserves to sit closer to the stage than the guy who is just going to hear New Orleans is Sinking? I know if I was in a band who I'd prefer to be sitting closer to the stage.
