I miss living in Canada a little more during Roll up the Rim season. We used to keep score in one of our offices when I was living in Kingston, there was a Timmy H on campus across the street from our building and grad students tend to drink a
lot of coffee. Plus I was an undergrad in Hamilton, enough said.
On a related note, I went to the post office last week and there was an empty Tim's coffee cup on top of the garbage outside. I was so jealous, and a little curious how it got there, the closest one is in Rochester! I came close to making a road trip. Good luck everyone! :thumb:

I havent played this year yet, but last year I had the OUTSTANDING record of 1 for 17. I felt like a Toronto Maple Leaf! The thing the really bothered me is someone won a car from the Tim's I go to the most, and I got one lousy muffin.
A muffin is a slap in the face. Out of the low-end prizes Coffee is definitely the best because it gives you another chance for free.
Anyway, I will be heading back to school next week and therefore consuming copious amounts of coffee. hopefully I will be able to erase the embarrassing '05 season from my memory.
0 for 5 so far. Last year was my worst year; I didn't get anything until I got a free cookie towards the end.
0 for 1. I've never won anything big, but one year I won something like 10 back-to-back coffees. Never had such a winning streak in my whole life.

I find the prizes only start to come out mid-contest....then you start to hit nearly every day.

This does belong in the terrible and unflattering photos section. It is in fact a picture of me that I was trying to post in that thread this morning. I gave up since I didn't have the time to figure out how to post photos, how it made it over here i don't know. When you click on it it becomes a photo of a winning rim (I'm talking coffee here people, minds out of the gutter).
The story behind the photo: When you have to catch a 7am train from Budapest to Prague and the bars in Budapest are open until 5am, it's not hard to figure out what to do. That photo was taken as we were wandering around Budapest in the wee hours of the morning. I was a little excited about the prospect of visiting Prague. And I was completely smashed after quite a few pints of
Dreher.
I'm surprised I don't win more often- I seem to have a real lucky streak. I've won some odd items in my life from free dinners to a huge nature print that hangs in my house to this day.
