Hey everyone, i've not posted here for well over a year (since my accidental trip to chicago on the night the hip were playing with sam roberts...)
Anyway, I am signed up to various ticket selling sites and subsequent alert e-mails, and this morning i received an e-mail which VERY CLEARLY says The Tragically Hip under the "New this week" section.
Now, there's no information on this organisations web site, but it could just mean its announced but tickets aren;t available yet. Even more annoyingly there is no date or location for the gig, so can anyone help me out?
I really want to be at this gig, but i got a bad feeling it just going to be a london date or something equally annoying.
any info would be appreciated and i'll let everyone here know if i hear anything new.

This is exciting news! Even though I have a snowball's chance in hell of ever attending a show in Europe, I get pumped when new tour dates get announced.

This may be a coincidence but wasn't it July 7th that the Hip played Shepherd back in 2000 or so??

June 8th I believe in 2000.

I am doing it in the privacy of my own home (curtains closed) and have left the goose fat in the fridge this time. Is there some difference between my loose danglies as a cheer of joy to a :jump used by someone else? (in fact, excluding the face, and the colour, there are some striking similarities)

I think Shane's use of "inappropriate" was more sarcastic than anything. At least thats how I read it. If only there was an emoticon for "sarcastic" there would be far fewer fights around here.
