Damn, only one Canadian date so far. Granted this is only the first leg, so maybe they'll do something like they did in 2001 where they played Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal. I certainly hope so. Otherwise, it looks like I'll be heading to Vancouver on the 28th.

From U2.com:

March 28th San Diego, CA - Sports Arena
April 1st Anaheim, CA - Arrowhead Pond
April 5th Los Angeles, CA - Staples Center
April 9th San Jose, CA - HP Pavilion
April 14th Phoenix, AZ - Glendale Arena
April 20th Denver, CO - Pepsi Center
April 24th Seattle, WA - Key Arena
April 28th Vancouver, BC - General Motors Place
May 7th & May 9th Chicago, IL - United Center
May 14 Philadelphia, PA - Wachovia Center
May 17 & May 18 East Rutherford, NJ - Continental Airlines Arena
May 21 New York, NY - Madison Square Garden
May 24 & May 26 Boston, MA - Fleet Center

Tickets for performances in Boston, Chicago, Denver, Philadelphia and San Diego will go on sale this Saturday, January 29th.

Tickets for performances in Los Angeles, Anaheim and San Jose go on sale this Sunday, January 30th and tickets for New York and East Rutherford go on sale next Monday, January 31st. (All additional on sale dates will be announced in the next few weeks.)

Once again, U2 will offer General Admission floor tickets giving fans the best view in the house for the lowest ticket price. Reserved seat tickets in the stands will also be available. In North America, general admission floor tickets will be $49.50 (plus applicable service fees). Additional ticket prices will vary per market. There will be an 8 ticket limit per person with a maximum purchase of 2 general admission floor tickets.

And no Moose Jaw either. It's just not right.

I've never seen them live, don't consider myself a major fan, but I'd go if the opportunity arose. Are they worth the $3500 they'll be asking?
$3500?? GA floors are $49.50.....they could get double that if they wanted
I hope they make some more Canadian dates on the second leg.

Come ooonnnnnnn London! If the JLC is good enough for the Hip then its good enough for anyone, oh yeah!!!!!!! :jump
I just noticed that its a pretty spaced out tour, wonder why? Old age creeping in or what? If Mick can do back to back shows...
maybe they'll be annoucing shows in between?

i hope so.
I imagine with their stage setup and props they have alot of stuff to move from venue to venue, perhaps they are spacing shows out to allow for everything to run smoothly
now...do i try get vancouver tix, or hold out for calgary/edmonton on 2nd leg?

I was thinking the same thing. They played Calgary in 2001, so I wouldn't be surprised if they came back.
Count me in on the May 21 show @ MSG Big Grin ...my first time seeing them
They just announced a third leg in the fall, though no dates yet. Doubtless, Toronto and Montreal at least will see some U2 then. I'll grab ticks to the ACC!! Never seen these guys before. Can't wait.
So nobody answered my question, what's the live show like? Is it worth shelling out for tickets?

Does anything seperate them from most other "legendary" acts; just the CD versions played loud?
