Does anything seperate them from most other "legendary" acts; just the CD versions played loud?
I saw them in Hamilton 2001 the Elevation tour and I paid $45.50 plus charges and taxes, and it was worth every penny. The show was something else, it left me speechless, but dont put too much into what I say, I ate a bunch of weed cookies before the show and I froze up halfway through. my GF at the time was from Ireland and hadnt seen them yet so I took her and she was over the moon, and she turns to me after and says, you didnt like the show or what? You didnt move an inch whats wrong with you? I laughed so hard. Go seem em' dame, I wouldnt steer you wrong, it was an amazing show. Did you ever see the live in Boston DVD, that should give you a taste. Here's the setlist from the Hamilton show, it was a good one..

Elevation, Beautiful Day, Until the End of the World, New Year's Day, Out of Control, Sunday Bloody Sunday,When Will I See You Again, Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of, Kite, Angel of Harlem, People Get Ready, Staring at the Sun, Bad, Where The Streets Have No Name, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, Pride (In The Name Of Love)
encores: Bullet the Blue Sky, What's Going On, New York, With or Without You, OnePeace on Earth , Walk On

:thumb: (Garbage opened the show, they sucked)
I saw them back in my young impressionable youth, and I thougth they were the best thing ever. But I also thought that POP was awesome at the time... so I don't really know. Smile

For $50, I'd say it's definately worth a trip. you could be like the fans who yell out "LITTLE BONES" for the whole show, except it'll be like "WHERE THE STREETS HAVE NO NAME@"

I saw them live for the first time in Montreal in 2001. Best large-scale concert I've ever witnessed. These guys know what they're doing, and they definitely give you your money's worth. Personally I think their live show puts their albums to shame. The rhythm section is heavier, Bono's voice is more powerful, and the Edge's guitar is much more aggresive and in your face. Simply put, they ROCK.

Alright, you guys convinced me, sounds like it's worth the drive to poor Old Montreal. "Streets" is alright, but I'd be screaming like a dork for that Martin Luther King song they do... which I guess show's ya how big a fan I am. Smile
Good luck getting any tickets for $50......apparently all of the ticket brokers bought up all of the good seats, nosebleed seats, and seats behind the stage and are selling them for atleast $175 a seat.
