Everything off of M@W as this is their most underrated album. I have said it again and again, this is their best album...and I hated it when it came out! Also, Sherpa!
I have always defended M@W...sooo underrated. I agree there's a lot of reasons that some people wouldn't like it - too disjointed, no unifying feel or flow, no familiar Hip "elements" - but I think as a standalone album it works. As 14 individual songs, taken by themselves, it's actually a stellar compilation of work. Lake Fever, The Bear, Wild Mountain Honey, The Completists...and of course the unforgettable Sharks. One of my favourite guitar rock songs ever. I must bring the album to work tomorrow, I haven't listened to it in ages!

Anyone else sorta dig "let's stay engaged"? I love that song. Great opening guitar riff.
Mick

Hey, yeah, I enjoy that song too. Very nice, chilled-out groove.

You're Everywhere
Emperor Penguin
The Completists
Bring it All Back
Wouldn't even mind those as a 1st & 2nd Encore with extended bobby-fest on the last one?
Ultra Mundane, and I just don't mean the thread's topic!
Kidding, kidding.

I agree. Bring it all back is way underrated. As is emperor penguin. Probably my fav from phantom.
Mick
Wow CBH. Bring it all Back makes my list as does Penguin. I have a live version of Bring it all Back where Gord says something about the Sand Rubies. It's a little different arrangement but Bobby still wails on the wah wah.

I don't think Emporer is underrated at all. Most people I have talked to love it. It kinda seems like this thread is turning into a "favourite songs" thing, because many of the ones mentioned aren't overlooked or undervalued. Not that I'm complaining, seriously, just pointing it out.
I would have to say that (because of the reaction of people in the "IF ONE IVL SONG SURVIVED" poll) that Are You Ready is a greatly underrated punchy little rocker.

Agreed, great song :thumb:
Were you the other guy that voted for it? LOL
I'm actually really curious to know who it was!!

am i going to have to monitor every thread to make sure you're not saying good things about Are You Ready? Cut it out.
this is the first time I've used emoticons. I feel like I've tapped a deep well-spring of my emotions.
Bring it All Back is totally underrated. I think it takes overrated Long Time Running to the cleaners.

You slay me! LOL. I'm starting to feel like Stephen Harper in Newfoundland.
I promise I will never mention it again, everybody knows what I think now. But I still am curious to know who else voted for it. I don't think they posted defending thier opinion in that thread.
PS - Emoticons ROCK!!
