Ok folks, now that that 2004 IBE Canadian tour is over, and we are sitting back reflecting on it, i was looking at all the setlists, and wondering which one was the strongest.

My pic for strongest setlist would be the Nov. 23 Winnipeg show.

I know, I know, you guys are going to say the only reason I picked that one was because I was there, and there is no doubt I am a little bias towards that show, as you all will be for you favs. But I also considered the London show, and rate that setlist a close second.

Now, I'm not basing my opinion on 'hits', though 'hits' is a small factor. I basing it more on rarities, and of course, some of my personal favs. I also looked at the encore, and though the Peg encore was so strong start to finish.

Reason's #1: Escape, Boots, Pistols.
Reason's #2: Jet, Gus, Wheat Kings, Nautical.

Those songs are some of my all time favs, and to get a chance to hear them all in one set was amazing. Escape is one of my all time favs, and Pistols is tops from RA (and it was the first time I had ever heard it played live), as is Jet from IVL, and Gus from IBE. Wheat Kings is a prairie classic, and Nautical I believe was voted top Hip song on this forum.

So that is my opinion. What's your vote?
The Halifax show...mostly because I was there. but still an amzing setlist none the less....After they didn't play Grace, Too within the first two songs I was disappointed..I didn't think they would play it after that...but low and behold...first song in the third encore...woooohoooo!!!!!!
London.

I was not there, but the setlist was fantastic. I am definitely going to buy this one online. What a killer setlist. Locked, 700ft. Would've murdered someone to have been there. Okay, maybe only maimed them...
It's rare to hear Grace in an encore, and I wouldn't mind hearing it near the end myself.
Definitely not Calgary! I was there and was not impressed...thank goodness I got to see them at the whisky...I am pretty pissed that they pulled Josephine, Everywhere and Heaven from a lot of the shows...if you are going to tour an album play the songs.

considering the small setlist, I thought the DC show was pretty good.
It's A Good Life If You Don't Weaken
Heaven Is A Better Place Today
Inevitability Of Death
Fighter Figter
Gus The Polar Bear From Central Park
Although after looking that was an american show...
Having 'Fighter Fighter' in the setlist does help the ranking. I would have loved to hear that in one of the two shows that I saw this fall.
No doubt it was London-
Daredevil (With an awesome Hiccups intro)
Locked
700 Ft.
Lake Fever
Twist My Arm
Scared

An awesome night...

arg. 700ft is a terrible song.
London was awesome.
I'll d/l that one just for 100th, what a great job.

The setlist was fantastic.

I'd trade Fire for Grace but it was still great.
Still have to go with the Winnipeg show. Trade Pistols for Twist, Escape for Scared, Silver Jet for 700ft.

I'm afraid we have differing opinions of the Saddledome show. In my mind, we were given a treat with Locked, Scared, Something On, Long Time(sure they're playing somewhat now, but such was not always the case), Are We Family, plus the added bonus of Pink Moon at the end of ABAC, and then all the regular goodies.

I was at the Whiskey show, and besides being in such an intimate setting, it didn't stand out at all to me. The Saddledome show sure did.
London for sure
