Hi All,
Well first off, I would like to apologize for this taking me so long to accomplish. There are no excuses. These pictures should have been available to everyone long ago. So sorry for that.
With that being said, please take a hop over to <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://concertpics.fotopic.net/">http://concertpics.fotopic.net/</a><!-- m --> to see some photos I took from our "Lap of the Lake" tour. If you go to the "Most Recent Collections" part of the site, you can view the pictures. They were taken over two nights in September at the Fox Theatre in Detroit and the Odeon in Cleveland.
You will notice very quickly that the pictures go from blurry and kinda crappy at the beginning to some great ones that (I think anyways) really capture the essence of the Hip's live show.
I lowered the resolution of the photos I posted so that they would load a lot easier for everyone. Hopefully you won't have too much trouble.
And always, I would love to hear your comments and feedback. It is always welcome.

Trevor...that pic with the bottle ' John Courage' is hilarious!! How appropriate :lol: Did that come off a beer bottle?? I know that Molson has phrases on them....

That was actually a picture of the Beer Tap as they had Courage on Tap at this local bar we went to. I wish I had gotten a better pic of it but apparently you are not supposed to take pictures of that stuff in bars (according to the bartender that day) so I was being all stealthy!
Chris and I had a glass of it before the show and let me tell you - it took all our courage to get it down!

Cool shots, Trevor. You guys had the best seats in the house. Don't get me wrong, I was diggin' the orchestra pit, but until I saw these pics, I had no idea how cool the stage, and teh band as a whole looked.
And Axis' pics are cool as hell, too. I've come to appreciate low-res phone-cam pics as a sort of modern artistic style; what they lack in clarity and detail is often eclipsed by the obvious spontaneity.
Maybe it's 'cause I'm a local, but I think it's cool as hell that everyone took shots of the theater (the ceiling's a popular subject); it's like a shared awareness that the building itself was a sixth member of the band that night.

fotopic.net is the easiest program to use. You should try it. I was green too and "looking for a place to happen" when it was suggested I try this one.

Awesome pics, I never realized what a beautiful theater that was. I also really like the pic of the "Courage" tap. I actually think that I've seen that before in a bar Florida. The other pic that caught my attention was the one of Baker. Very Nicely done!!!! thanks for sharing them with us.
