I understand what you're saying. I read in another thread that he visits as well. I meant no disrespect for bringing it up and thipfan73 and I are just having some fun. I hope everyone can see the humour that is intended in this thread.

Oh I totally get that and I'm sure everyone else does. My earlier comment wasn't directed at anyone having fun or meant to offend or guilt anyone. It's just that lately I've seen
so many "setlists suck" comments and people whining about retiring NOIS and if
I was the guy in the band that wrote the setlists every night checking in to see what my most diehard fans were saying, I'd probably take it personally.
I love the sharp wit, dry humor, and sarcasm that permeates the 'base and that's half the reason I spend so much time here.

Yeah, it would be pretty uncomfortable for him to read the dozens of 'These Setlists Suck' topics... but as a fairly popular and experienced musician, I'm sure he could handle it... afterall, stupid audience members throw empty bottles and garbage and shoes on stage... It wouldn't (doesn't) surprise me to learn that Gord Sinclair, or any other member of the Hip would 'discover' this site, if not only out of pure curiosity of what comes up when you search for 'tragically hip' on google... the only thing that still bothers me, for lack of a better term, is where that link for 'Pascal's Submarine' came from way back in the day... Was it Gord Downie himself? A member of the Country of Miracles? A record executive... that always kinda flared my curiosity... but anyway, if Gord Sinclair is truly visiting the site (which I don't doubt in anyway), may I be the first to say "Welcome, and if you wanna jam, PM me..."
In keeping with the theme of stuff that's probably already been discussed... So is that how we got "Escape" played in Kingston, did Sinclair visit here and see the request?
