Yeah, noticed that too. Why not leave it in? I think it's great!

I love that! You definitely get the feeling that the band were all in the same room together in the studio jamming it out. Gord mentioned in a recent interview that he was in an isolation booth for the vocals, but he had a big window in front of him so he could see the rest of the guys in the next room.
i noticed this just yesterday as well...nashville is becoming one of my fave tracks...catchy tune
  You're right - thats pretty funny.
I looooove this tune so much....
i think it's cool that they left it in, kinda reminds me of the end of pearl jam's "go", when you hear dave abbruzzese's sticks ricochetting of the wall...
just listened for that right now and caught it. But I must admit, barely. I would not have noticed if someone didn't point it out. Pretty cool indeed.
The hip seem to do that often on there records.
On two songs on Phantom Power, when the track is just about to end you hear someone say "Cool"
And on I believe Wind down the pines you hear the cop/fire siren in the background that they left in there.
You can here the sticks on two other songs too. I think "You're Everywhere" and there's another one I can't remember right now.

There's also a "Cool!" at the end of "We're Hardcore" from Battle of the Nudes, right after everyone goes crazy at the end.
That was one of the first things I noticed while listening to the album. Just love it.
I like how we get to hear the guitars play out in "Gus" too.
I'm really psyched for "Nashville" live next weekend, should be a great anthem... warming up my screaming voice as we speak!
It can be Nashville every night for me! I love this song, definately one of my favs. Sounded great in toronto and I hope to hear it again at Wasaga! :thumb:

speaking of this song, and the loud-mouthed jingoistic redneck in which it refers to, does anyone know if this song has in anyway elicited a resonse from prince Toby Keith? Because obviously, Gord's not saying good things about him.
Im sure he would respond in some manner given he knows about the song and realizes "hey wait, he done talkin bout me!", being the type he is. Anyone heard of anything? Im interested....

I doubt Toby Keith even knows who the Hip are. But it would definitely be great if it pissed him off in some way. I imagine his idiotic response would be comedy gold.
