Firstly I understand the liberals have done some HUGE mistakes, and I understand that they should suffer for it, but the conservatives are going to kill Canada and destroy everything that makes this country great.

Voting for the NDP, is just another vote for harper, as the NDP have little chance to win...

I dunno..i would hate a conservative government, it'd be a shame for Canada o have to endure that..I mean even old conservatives are telling canadins to vote liberal...theres something up with this harper dude...

the only way to beat them is to vote liberal..so PLEASE GOD, vote liberal!
ummm no...just cant do it
NO MORE TAXES
thats all i gotta say
screw that noise
TAXES
Sounds like a desperate plea. You'd think you were Paul Martin or something.

Thanks for telling us who you think we should vote for, but I think I'll educate myself and make my own decisions. Wink
I for one will NEVER vote conservative, however I'm not voting liberal either. Did you know that the liberal's and conservatives vote together 7 out of 10 times! They may as well be the same damn party!
Vote however you want, but be ready to do it again in December or earlier. You thought the US '00 election was complicated... wait until Adrienne Clarkson has to become the first relevant Governor General since Byng. If the Liberals get less than 100 seats, we've got a circus on our hands.

However, If a Bloq-Alliance coalition can prove sustainable, folks like myself on the left don't have to worry about gay marriage or abortion. Harper won't go near it for fear of losing the Bloq, a party overwhelmingly in favour of progressive policies.

Harper's not the devil, but he is closer to George W. Bush than any politician we've ever had. Let that affect you as it may...

And remember this: (this coming from a guy who works for one of the opposition parties and won't be voting Liberal) the money that was funneled to Sponsorhip is the equivalent to $70 for someone who earns 60K a year. Can you account for every $70 you've said goodbye to over the past ten years. In my opinion, the other $150million was well spent. Quebec is still in Canada, and I'll even say my own leader is wrong on clarity.

IMO the best thing for Canada is a Liberal minority government with the NDP in the balance. It worked for Trudeau and Pearson beyond anyone's best hopes, and it would work again.

PM Harper? Not the end of the world and most likely short lived... and for those of you who know your history, this looks more and more like 1979 by the day.

Liberals need to be put back in check by being the opposition. I still think its going to be minority government. Whether that is good or bad for Canada, is a whole other topic.

He was anything but desperate last night. Expect him to come out blazing tonight as well. Paul's being called "reborn" all over the Conservative Bell GlobeMedia properties today... Harper will be ready too... this should be good.

And just as a P.S. It's 1:50pm here in Ottawa, a full six hours until debate time, and there are already groups of Liberal and Conservative supporters screaming at each other outside the NAC. It's like fight night atmosphere around here right now.

I hope Harper is left staring at the lights.
The whole comment about Paul Martin being desperate was a joke based on how the first post in the thread sounded.

To step into the "fight night" mentality for a second... I hope that Layton and the NDP get some sense knocked into them...Wink Tongue

No. David Herle, Paul Martin and Earnscliffe screwed eveything up.

This election should have been called in the Fall and could have been a cake-walk. These guys were too focused on turfing a popular three term prime minister to pay attention in Poli-Sci 101 I guess.
Don't tell me my opinion is wrong dickhead.
haha sorry, for the desperation soundingness , between studying for exams i was like "hmm, i'm doing to post a rant somewhere". Sorry to subject you to that.
