the disc rocks.... I love it right from the first listen. Cant wait to head down to buffalo for the show
Awesome set Fri. night, and the cd is fantastic too. So glad I managed to snag a copy of it!
I lost the stick in the really bright stage lights and it hit me right in the dome. Oh well it was funny!

Littleproud Wrote:I'm glad you guys enjoyed the show as much as we enjoyed playing it! I'm pretty sure that was our best show yet. But jeebus...I broke about 3-4 sticks in that set.
Evidentally, I hit Tragically Mike in the head with one of the sticks. What are the odds?!?!

Big Grin
Sorry again, dood Big Grin

And thank you gentoo, and all of the others who saw us for the first time. Our next gig is in Buffalo this month (right after my birthday, might I add), so hopefully I will see you there.

Peace, love and Hip-athy,

Derek (the drummist)
Looks like Hugh Dillon will be on The Hour this Monday.

And he is starring in the new TMN series "Durham County" which starts tomorrow night.
Great interview on The Hour! I missed the first 10 minutes or so. Did they mention when the new album is coming out? George had a copy of the CD in his hand, so I'm assuming a release date isn't too far off. I'm also very interested in checking out "Durham County". Sounds like a cool show.
For anybody who missed the interview:

Is The HDRC dead? Their site is gone - replaced by HughDillon.com. <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.thehdrc.com">www.thehdrc.com</a><!-- w -->

But according to <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.thehdrc.com/index.php/music.html">http://www.thehdrc.com/index.php/music.html</a><!-- m --> "His aptly titled album Works Well With Others, will be out soon."

Hugh has been pretty busy lately with his TV work, so perhaps the band is just on ice for now. I've been waiting to hear this album for a long time. Hopefully they get it out sooner than later.
They've got a few new songs up on their myspace page, but even those are getting old.

I think that Hugh is too busy doing voice work for Manulife One commercials to have time for music. :rambo:
Hey, Chris here from the HDRC. Although we've been inactive lately, we're still together. Hugh was at my place on the weekend writing more material. The album will be coming out this year (most of it is out there on the internet already). Again, it's a Paul Langois produced record. Him and Aaron mixed it themselves and it sounds great. I hope you're still around when the album comes out.

Hopefully, we'll be playing some shows in the near future.

Thanks for the update Chris! We'll be here when it comes out. :music
