I have it as VCD, not on DVD. It's still great quality and most dvd players will play it.
PM me if you want a b&p.

LoftyPines Wrote:I guess that just shows how much the sound at SkyDome really sucks.
But wasn't the skydome built for baseball? I went to a show, not the hip, in Olympic Stadium in Montreal in the 80's and the sound was AWFUL, I was on the feild and the music actually ECHOED. I'd imagine the sound is as bad at the Skydome.

I don't know if anyone else agrees, but the Air Canada Center was built for the hip, the sound is so amazing.

I have the show as well - it was available from thehundredthmeridian for download when last I checked. It is a .wmv file (approximately 145mB).
Das Hips - the London show? Sheppards Bush Empire? If so, that is out there on DVD. The video quality is crap, but the sound is good. Afterall it was just a webscast....

Das Hips - when you say the London show, do you mean the London 2000 show from England that chris mentioned, or do you mean the Camp Trillium Benefit London 1998 show from the other London (in Ontario)?
The only reason I ask is the London UK show isn't soundboard, but the London ON show is, so if it's the Ontario show you want, I'd be happy to help you out!

I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you.....for linking this concert.
I finally get to see them on a screen of some sort. Living down here in the States I never see anything about the Hip, NOTHING....yet I am a HUGE fan. I've seen them twice in concert and that was great. I think of myself as dis-placed Canadian living in America.
I really love the music scene in Canada and pretty much despise popular music in America.
Anyway that was all I wanted to say :thumb:

I'm watching the concert right now with out buffering, thank god, and I'm finally getting Gord's rants.
Anyone else getting some kinda of anger at his wife vibe from these rants? Kinda a divorce vibe?
"Swim honey, not to me not to him, swim"
"the spare room in the basement will be fine."
"Let's just put it on ice and talk about it later....Just wanna lay down next to you baby...."
"Am I overreacting, do you realize how many people this is impacting?"
"these years here, dear"
and I haven't even made it past "The Darkest One"
Granted, he makes up shit to rant about but this sounds very personal. I haven't seen Gord wearing his ring, not that I've seen at least in pictures and videos.
What do you think? Not that I want him to be divorced, I know what it's like, it's a horrible thing but I'm very curious if I'm right.
