Not sure how I feel about this partnership. I don't question their motives, but I would like to hear more about what this entails...Hip-branded marijuana? I guess it's no different than Tragically Hip wine, still it just feels off.

How I feel is that I hope the next "news" from the band is something that fans can celebrate and share. For example, I would love a new live show from the vaults, unreleased studio tracks/album, a release date for the documentary to look forward to, etc.

Good for the band that they are in the financial position to get in on the ground floor/mezzanine of legal pot production in Canada, but I think I see what you mean. Is this going to be exactly like the wine? Which in my opinion felt very "hands off" in that they partnered with a relatively unknown Niagara winery, stuck Lieve Prins' beautiful art on the label and watched sales skyrocket regardless of what was inside the bottle.

If so, their discography provides ample opportunity for strain names
