Do you know how to use Dropbox? I've got everything you wanted I think, and could do it that way.
yes i can use that isnt similar to ushare ect..
would love that

thanks so much
PM sent thanks for the hook up
i'm uploading 3 shows from ARA 93, a few gems from '95, one from 98, one from 2000, and one from 2009 to get you started, and we can go from there if there's other stuff you're looking for.....
merci thats awesome

thanks so much

I used to own over 60 maxwell xl2 of hip shows

long gone now

I find the old stuff blows away anything they are doing now

You can tell there creativity and hunger was on a different level back than

and I find the music much more interesting, I used to love where they would take new orleans or 100th
i used to love the jamming before dare devil (i think it was named hiccups)
I used to love the rants and improv

I saw the hip a couple years ago in nyc, they were fun and a great time, but I felt like i could predict everything that was coming

While the hip still rules, nothing touches 93 - 95

in 96 gord found the guitar and changed everything
Should have it ready tonight....

EDIT: still a couple hours left, dunno who turned off my laptop....so it'll likely be tomorrow....sorry for the delay......
If you send me a link I will post them on hipfans.com as downloads - no need to use DropBox, etc.

Or for the next little while you can download shows from http://hipfans.com/shows/

Right-click and save the files you want.... This site will be up and down more than a toilet seat....
you guys are great
no need for torrents anymore i guess

thanks all
Thanks Chris, I'll pm u tonight with what I've upped.
Anyone else have any show requests?
anything that has a good recording
i was shocked to see on the hip website that they only started really recording their shows in 95

so many missing gems that could have been great releases

This is quite a statement... there was something different about those shows for sure...but there was another era from 96-99 that had some heavy heavy shows in there I remember travelling into the US a number of times and seeing the magic.

The tour that can't be forgotten a few years back when they hammered out night after night of shows with none of the same songs back to back, pretty sweet for the multiple night concert lover....

they might be a tad more predictable for sure and some of that feeling comes form ourselves after 20 years of shows... I mean I didn't know the band in 95 like I know them today.... of course I am less surprised when Gord hands out hankys or rides his microphone etc...

I find the lyrics have gone in a totally different direction/style...as well
I agree
I think I meant to say they transformed during that era from a bar band to an arena band! and became rock stars

96 - 99 has some great shows and they sounded great

the whole 96 henhouse tour was insane

The 'Live From The Vault' from Cleveland 1996 is my favourite release in that series. Wish they would still play 'Apartment Song', 'Sherpa' and 'Put It Off' regularly!
