Okay, here's hoping one more time for a show at The Pageant in St. Louis around the Minnesota date.
The 10/19 show in D.C. still isn't listed on the 9:30 Club's website. But I think you can still but tix, a little strange.

Just booked my flight and bought tickets for this show! Can't wait! It's going to be awesome.

Here's your NYC date: 5/8/09.
We NYC residents are a bit spoiled though. We usually get them coming and going for two visits. Not this time tho'...
Hello all, I'm new here. I'm from Kansas City and the Hip have never been here I'm pretty sure. I did go see them in St. Louis back in '93 though. Incredible show. I have a friend in Dallas and I got us both tickets to the show there on 10/23. Can't wait. It's been 16 long years since I've seen them live. I would love to hear "Locked In The Trunk of a Car" live in Dallas. I'll be in my "Fully Completely" concert tee I got from the show in St. Louis. I'm a little bigger now so it's gonna be a tight fit but I don't care. Hope to see some of you there.

They opened at Kemper for Page and Plant back in 1995 as part of the Day for Night tour...

I missed it. Have given up on them ever stopping by again. But glad to learn of a another Hip fan in KC! A few more of us, and maybe we'll get Hip show at the Beaumont in 2011. Or not.
Thanks for the info on that show. Had no idea they were here opening for Page and Plant. I missed that show obviously. If they come to KC again I hope it's not the Beaumont though. Seating there is extremely limited and I have MS so I need a seat. The Uptown or Voodoo Lounge would work for me. Big Grin

I may see you there! I'm thinking of going for a (long) drive on the 17th and winding up in Baltimore. Well, I've bought a ticket and booked a room so I must be more than thinking about it. So, yes, I will see you there! Smile

I would love to be there. Have Joel Plaskett tickets for that night (Hamilton). Trying to set up Salamanca right now.

The Holliday Inn 1 mile from the casino (there is free shuttle service from the hotel) and $150 is not too bad.

Or Alleghany State Park Beehunter Cabins: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.reserveamerica.com/camping/Allegany_State_Park/r/campgroundDetails.do?contractCode=NY&parkId=31&topTabIndex=CampingSpot">http://www.reserveamerica.com/camping/A ... ampingSpot</a><!-- m -->
Holiday Inn appears to be sold out. Called casino for some yucks. It was stated they are fully booked for the evening due to the concert. I asked who was playing and she said the tragically hip. Mentioned that I never heard of them.

After some brief silence rep asked if I was a AAA member. I got warm and fuzzy as she stated that would get my 10% off. Mmm...not bad 10% off $575. Confusedhock:

Would like to get a cabin like you have....

Awesome! What hotel are you staying at? We mangaged to get a room right in the Inner Harbor. I think it's a Comfort Inn. Have you ever been to Baltimore? It's a fun area! Can't wait for the show!
As I said in another thread also:
I was worried about this US tour being repetitive and boring - since they are all "one-offs".
But this is looking promising!
