BB I totally see where you are coming from! Today's Hip is a pretty different sound to early Hip for sure. Yep I'm a pretty new fan - first heard them in 02 and IBE was first new album and tour, hence my fondness for recent work. Didn't mean any offense to your post sorry - just gave me a chuckle

Like most here, 2-3 are not etched in stone. Took a quick glance at the track listing for Day for Night and it reaffirmed my idea that it's not only their best, but the best rock album to come out in my lifetime.
