How do you do that? And what does it actually do? With all my NA's, I would love to think there's something I could do to change my fortunes!

Our household is running a hockey pool as well, and we want two active goalies and one on the bench like you have in our pool. How do you change that? Can it be done once you have set up the pool?

well that's a bunch of underachievers if I've ever seen some....Weight, Lang, Bonk, York, Chechmanek. I like the 4 d-men I got and it won't hurt if Turco has another outstanding season. Hopefully Kovalev will decide to play hockey again after a year with his head in the clouds.

is it me or are a couple of the teams top heavy with the best forwards and some bottom heavy with d-men? I've got a great d-core but a couple of other teams have stacked front lines, i.e. Yashin/Naslund/Mogilny and Bertuzzi/Jagr

ah well, at least it was all drawn randomly so everyone had the same chance of getting these players

i guess it's too early for yahoo to have marc-andre fleury on the list eh??

not that it matters that much because i dont think that he is gonna have a strong year, but it would be cool to have him as bench-warmer

Too early also for Jason Spezza too...I don't think I saw his name in the list. If I had, I'd have been sure to put him on my preferred rankings! Even if he won't be the brilliant player he could be later in his career, he'd be an excellent alternate. Someone I work with played on the IceDogs with him...

yeah, i went to the same school as him for the year he played with the battalion, before the icedogs.

Hey Lance et al,
I should have brought this up earlier, but is it still possible to change the points awarded for certain categories?

For example - I don't think you need to get extra points for goals and assists and pp goals and pp assists when you already get 5 and 7 points etc. It's confusing.

Also I think that the points awarded for pp goals and assists are too much. They should be maybe half of what shorthanded rewards are.

Sorry dude, but after one night I am discovering this - for example (I am not bitching because I am in second, it is simply an example) -

The Dark Canucks have 3 less assists, 1 less point, 7 less pims, 6 less +/- and 2 more pp goals and I am 13 points behind. That's a little steep.

If you can't change them - so be it, and I won't bring it up again - but if you can I think it will be better.

Yea, I realized that last night aswell... But nothing can be changed... I am just hoping I have players on the powerplay.

I agree boys, even though I am doing alright, I think SH goals and assists are way harder to get and warrant a lot more points. I am sorry if I do well just because of the PP.
