Actually, yeah. I was quite skeptical after HWO. It's no LS or BIO, but blows HWO away. In fact, it might be their best effort, imo, since LS (including compilations and EPs).

I saw this on the shelf at HMV yesterday. I didn't even know it was out and I haven't heard a thing about it in the press. But if it's as good as his last two albums, I'll be buying it for sure.

Looking forward to the Ben Harper and the Relentless 7 album. It sounds wicked from what I have heard so far.

I actually really like HWO, along with with IOG, my two favourites. This one's up there with them for me.

i have all their stuff but am hot/cold with how its aged.
haven't seen them in a while so this might be the one.
goodness, i remember seeing them the first time they played toronto, at the horseshoe -- a free show. it was glorious.

I think it's wicked, definitely worth checking out. I haven't seen them, they're #1 on my list for bands i haven't seen...I've heard they're a killer live act...ordered tickets for the Toronto show as I'll happen to be in the area at the time.
