I've been glued to this album for 24 hours, it's unreal. In the Blue Moonlight is breath taking. Joel's best album in my books for sure. He showcases all his styles from he previous albums which I really like, and just makes his acoustic sing on some of those songs, what a great guitar player, this guy needs to be famous!

It's certainly is a lot of music to digest. I've only had two full listens so far and it's definitely good, I'm just not sure how good yet. I thought Ashtray Rock was a masterpiece and I've had it on heavy rotation again lately. Combine that with Through & Through & Through being my only preview of Three, and I must say it is a lot more mellow than I was expecting. Not that that's a bad thing, it will just take a few more listens to grow on me...

i feel the same. Truthfully, Truthfully and Ashtray Rock are amazing albums. I need more time with this, I haven't had a full listen through as of yet either, tomorrow night for sure with a couple of beers will be just right.

I got Through & Through & Through from the free single of the week, and liked it. Based on that and all the positive reviews here on the base I bought the entire album, and I am glad I did. All three discs are great! Two great albums in one week... lots to digest!

So I finally bought this album today. Disc 1 is awesome, and I'm just starting on disc 2 right now. It's a lot of music to digest, but I can already tell it's gonna be one of my favorite albums of the year.

Oh man, I bought this CD at HMV the other day on a whim...ive always been a fan, but not hardcore. Anyway, I am in love with all 3 CD's at this point. Definitely worth the $18. My favourite tunes so far are Heartless, Heartless, Heartless, & In the Blue Moonlight & Through, Through, Through. SOLID!

After like a dozen listens I can STILL only remember one song from Disc 2 off the top of my head (Sailors Eyes). The other two are great though!

This album keeps getting better with each spin. 27 songs and there isn't a single dud on the entire thing. Amazing!

Now that I've had a few weeks to take it all in, I must say this is my pick for album of the year. And I realize it's only April. I just can't imagine anything topping it. Can't wait for Massey Hall!

Yup. I don't think even "We Are the Same" can knock this album from it's lofty perch at the top of my list. When I first heard that it was going to be 27 songs, my first thought was that it would probably have a lot of duds and filler on it. Boy was I ever wrong. All three discs are excellent.
