Who is the female voice in "Through & Through & Through"? Anyone know?
I saw Joel perform on friday in Whistler. He was solo for the most part but had two girls playing and singing with him for part of his show. The songs form the new album were very good. he is a really funny guy, he had the "Village People" in whistler in stitches.
Can't remember the girls name but both figure on the album a lot he says.
Three sounds good so far! Not discerning any distinct themes between discs 1 and 2, though I guess the first was a little more rockin'.

I hope my Hip arrives early lol :jump I can't wait for this new plaskett album. Planning on wearing it out by the time he swings through Massey Hall.
I'm digging discs 1 & 3 more than disc 2 at the moment. There are a few good tracks on that one but most of it hasn't really registered with me yet. Maybe I should be listening to them separately instead of all at once - it's an awful lot of music to process!
I mentioned a while back to my girlfriend about Joel coming to the Rebecca Cohen in Halifax, with the autographed CD bundle and two tickets. With our university student income, I put it aside and never thought anything of it after that. Turned out she ordered it and it arrived today.
It is a pretty solid album. A lot to take in after one listen, but I enjoy it. Haven't found any exceptionally high points yet. Liked 'Gone, Gone, Gone' a fair amount; probably my favorite so far.
Well working on the second listen through now...
I love the first tune on disc 1.
that womans voice reminds me of an old Clapton tune where he had some female vocals.
Have some front row balcony's to the Massey Hall Show. Should be a great time!!!
Just ran through disc one. Joel is one origional son of a bitch. Ohhh Run, Run, Run just started. Nice!
Im on disc three!! Such a good set of albums!
I skipped to Rollin Rollin Rollin lol its so good!
Im excited to give it another few listens, I really suggest hip fans to give it a listen.
