MAv and The Hip's management have recently hinted that there are some cool things in the works that might satisfy some longstanding wishes... so maybe this is the start. Or were the videos the start? Or was MAv the start?

Agreed.
It sounds more like a "Neil Young from the Archives" thing then a Pearl Jam thing... more of a "we selected a show everyone always asks us to release" over a "we're putting everythign out there".....
In either light, very cool find, and a cool surprise. Perhaps a consensus "best show we've liked" from each "era" of the hip?
So when do the request/bets as to what show it might be start pouring in?
I think NYE/NYD '99/'00 would be a nice start...
I'm hoping for the Fort York shows from 2006.
