Ahh, so it's not just me. It must definitely be something with the mp3 version, as the people who bought the FLAC version don't seem to be having any problems.
I also have an incomplete version of In View from the MP3 download.
As a suggestion, it would be wayyyyy better if I could download all these files together in a zip file or something. It's pretty inconvenient to have to download them all independently.
Otherwise this is fantastic though!

Hey all, if you have issues with a file - In View, for example, please inform Maple music through their support page. Please le me know, via PM, if you have any problems. I will make sure they get sorted out if you run into anything, but Maple should take of you just fine.

yaa-hoo -- Christmas came early. Hopefully this is just the start of a fairly regular release of archive shows. Really like these first three choices.

I hope this doesn't end up like the Live Series downloads of yore at Livedownloads.com in which there were three volumes and then it disappeared.
I finally scrounged enough money to buy Vol. 1 and... holy shit this sounds amazing. At first, though I thought it was a great idea, I was kind of weary because most soundboard shows I heard sound great but are unmixed so they sound just a little flat... This sound amazing. I got really baked last night before putting it on and this is seriously one of the best Hip shows I have ever heard, soundboard or no soundboard. The setlist is perfect for the DFN-era and the version of "Freaked" during NOIS is absolutely amazing (though a little short) and it's great to hear a version of NOIS that doesn't kind of bore me for once, since even though they seem to try their best to keep it interesting these days, It's been played so many times that without a jam it sounds kind of plain, though the "Hundredth Meridian" jam they do instead more than makes up for it. The "Gems" jam is insane and hearing stuff from DFN you never hear live anymore like "Inevitability of Death", "Titanic Terrarium", and "Daredevil" is amazing given the quality of the mixing and the strength of the performance.
Whoever thought this up is amazing and this was definitely worth the fifteen bucks, which means that I will definitely be buying the other two that are up right now and most likely every subsequent release. I mean, this isn't like some bands do where they release every show on a tour, making the taping community useless and having hardcore fans shell out how many ever dollars for 20 shows with the same setlist. These seem to be shows picked because they've withstood the test of time and are really worth the ten or fifteen dollars to have them in superb quality because the performance is so strong and unique.
It's also a great way to make money because there is no physical item to be shipped, so after a while it's pure profit. I'm glad to be supporting this business model, though, because it's way overdue for this band and really needs to become a standard, since it's an easy vehicle for bands to give their fans what they want, to make them happy for little cost to either the fan or the band.

I couldn't agree more! I've been waiting for the Hip to do something like this for a long time now and I finally got my wish. The three shows they've released so far are amazing, and the sound quality is superior to any other soundboard recording I've ever heard. They've been recording all their shows since 1995, so they've probably got mountains of great material in the vaults that they could potentially release for this new series. And I'll buy every single one of them!

Downloaded the Halifax show and listened to most of it on the train to work today. What an intense show, and the recording seems to do it justice. That was a different time for the band; I wish I could have just a sample of whatever Gord got into before that gig.
