chris Wrote:The Hip Tracker is beginning it's rebirth... I will hopefully have something to share this weekend. I ran a couple of test torrents today and things went as planned. Woo Hoo!!!

This is all good news! Big Grin You can't keep a good site down. Wink
You got it!

Check out www.thehiptracker.com for the torrents that are currently active.

There are a few more backend issues to sort out before there is anymore of an interface.
A new tracker is up at: http://www.thehiptracker.com/newtracker.php

Currently the only way to add torrents is for me, or the other admins, to do it. Once we get some more of the bugs worked out, and make a decision about how we want things to work, a number of the old features will be re-introduced including user accounts, commenting, etc.
That's cool, chris! Big Grin Will the frontend be staying like that or is that a temporary thing?

It's great to see it back in whatever form though! Big Grin

Yes.

Right now I am not sure. I just wanted to "keep the beat flowing" so that's why it's as plain as it is right now. I've been chatting with the other behind-the-scenes guys about what we want, and what we need, etc, and although a consensus is forming, there is not timeline, nor decisions made yet

Sorry to hear all the troubles guys, I know a ton of work goes into keeping it afloat. I went to the tracker for the first time in a bit and was confused by the look of it. Just to be sure if I decide to grab some of the Euro tours, I just click n go, no signing in or anything?

The Tracker is back in a modified state of operation: www.thehiptracker.com

More shows are being added regularly.
