Why do I sometimes get the impression that, Paul Haggis aside, Hollywood is pretty much out of ideas?
I don't think they are out of ideas as much as the corporations who now run Hollywood will only produce proven moneymakers. Remakes, sequels, video games and comic book adaptions are safe. A few small pictures sneak Thur the system but most original ideas are now produced by "independents".
Here's a lit of some upcoming movies.
Avatar by James Cameron in 3D
Justice League Of America (Guess where they are filming this)
The Day The Earth Stood Still
The Creature From The Black Lagoon
Star Trek-Start Fleet Academy
The Wolf Man
Friday The 13th
And more sequels then you could shake a stick at.
Wow, that trailer looked amazing, I can't wait to see this.
Saw this last night and it is awesome.. the graphics are so realistic at times it's scary. Sly looks kind of weird though having taken HGH.. you can tell its changed his face a little bit.
not too sure if i wanna see this one.
The first half is boring exposition and cheap shots like killing women and children. The second half is a bloodbath straight out of the 1980's with modern digital effects.
My main complaint is that it seemed really short.
