anyone else want to hear this song live, i know they have only played it once, to my understanding, by request..its so good it gives me black eyes. whos with me?
When I first heard it I thought it would be a live staple on the IBE tour.
I always thought it wasn't played because the main intro riff sounds way too much like Rocking in the Free World.
I'd love to hear it live..although I'd like to hear most of IBE live every nite
i was one of the lucky ones to hear it in edmonton and it was ultra sweet!
I think they played it in July 04 at Darien Lake in Buffalo...at least thats what I had written down but maybe it was one of their set list audibles where they change it on the spot at the show.

No they did not play it at Darien Lake (that would have been nice)

I never really understood some songs getting cut.
The Hip created these songs and liked them well enough to put them on record, but then they abolish some of them to oblivion.
Songs are like children - you should enjoy the first one as much as the last one.
Heart of the Melt is an awesome tune and i wish i could have been at one of those 4 shows so bad.
And about Leave, I was looking for a quality recording of it a while ago but all I found was a recording from a sound check and the quality wasnt even listenable, so if anyone has a quality copy of it live I would surely love to get my hands on it.
its funny this is mentioned because yesterday i grabbed my IBE because i wanted too hear IF NEW ORLEANS IS BEAT- which is personally one of my favourites
anyway i ended up listening to the cd while i did some stuff around the house.
HEART OF THE MELT and YOUR EVERYWHERE are also amazing.....
Leave is such a good song its sick

Heart of the Melt should have become a staple...sigh, I remember someone saying that the Hip felt they just couldn't make the song work live. Which makes no sense since the couple bootlegs of it are sick.
Always wanted to hear 'Leave' live. Fave song on IVL.
