Valid point... although it could get messy if we have to dance as well...

Is this European tour likely to include other UK venues?
You clearly haven't heard my 'attempts' at singing the Hip's catalogue!!

Is this European tour likely to include any other UK venues? London might be a bit too far and expensive for me.
Something is not right with Hipbase... Plankton's post shows up 8 times but the post count only shows 3?

And to answer the question, no one knows at this point. Last year there was only one UK show.

There must be a crack in the space time continuum!
OK, so I have a date for my course.
I'm pencilled in for the 7th of August. so should be in my first week of my hospital placement...

I need to see if I can leave early for a train down...

I'm not organised enough for stuff like this, but I will give it a go Smile

Good man!
I was at the Astoria on Wednesday night for the Manics and it was crazy! It was packed to the rafters. I can't wait to see the Hip there.

FYI any tapers, if you have a standing ticket, you can get up onto the first level baclony which would be a great position to video from. We were up there on Wednesday as standing was so full, and I'm glad we were. There's also slightly raised areas either side of the soundboard. I don't know how many people who normally do the taping are going, but I'd probably be able to hold a camera or something if need be (assuming you want to do video).

It should be great though! Big Grin
Thanks for the info Zenith!
I'm more than happy to help out, though my propensity for singing along to everything probably counts me out as being of any use (except perhaps to keep space free and the like!).

Really getting excited now!!

Big Grin WOO!
Still waiting for mine!!!
Astoria is very central London which is lousy for parking if you'll be driving. Looks like this time I'll get the train down and stop over with friends for the weekend seeing as it's a Friday.

Note that of late I've been booking busses to get down south (I'm in Leeds) and you can get these £7 fares on the major routes if you book early with National Express.

Hope to see you guys there.

my tickets arrived in the post about 2 weeks after i ordered them from ticketmaster.
