Thanks, that's even better. I have to work late tomorow evening & won't be able to make it to the concert until about 8:30. I could get off early if i asked, but i'd rather not seeing as i left early last week to go see Buckcherry.
And does anyone know if cameras are allowed? Even if they aren't, i'll still sneak mine in

I called the JLC before the show to get the official policy, they said no audio or video and only 35mm camera's or disposables allowed. But I really doubt it will be strictly enforced, people were taking pics all through the show with digital cameras and phones. The security at the JLC was lax, I didnt get so much as a glance when I entered the building let alone a frisk down, I could have been armed to the teeth and they wouldnt of known.
That's what i like to here! Thanks again. I'll feel a bit safer now taking my digital with me tomorrow night! Though i've been to 5 or 6 shows at the CCC before & it's never been a problem, just give them your ticket & you're on your way.
Just got back from the Charlottetown gig, wow, they were awesome!
indeed they were! i had to come straight into work after the gig
the sideshow on the waterfront/BOAT was awesome, some of it is popping up on youtube already!
I would of loved to have seen that kleh! I seen some pics a few minutes ago & a links to youtube which i'll probably check out on the weekend.

I read yesterday too that the show in Cape Breton was going to be recorded & included as part of the White Stripes 10th anniversary cd package! Hopefully that's right!

Well I have to hand it to my fellow hipbasers... I hadn't bought any White Stripes CDs before, though I do like some of their songs. But the praise for this album was so strong I had to go out and try it for myself, and wow I'm glad I did! This is one strong album indeed. Little Cream Soda and Rag and Bone are early highlights for me, but I haven't found a real weak link in the CD yet. Kudos to them... and now I may have to open my wallet again soon to buy their other CDs!

Yeah I'm pretty pissed. I have tickets for next Tuesdays show in San Diego. This actually saves me a drive to S.D. since I'll be in LA but still this kinda sucks. THe only good thing that came out of it was I never knew who the 'Cold War Kids' were until I saw them listed for the opening act. I bought their cd to get familiar with it and its pretty fantastic. I'll try to catch Cold War Kids next time I'm around but I don't know about the Stripes. I get really annoyed when people cancel their US tour because Meg can't handle her f'in anxiety. Only thing is Acute means it stems from a traumatic event or experience that happened within the last month or so I believe so hopefully something really bad didn't happen. If so then I guess I feel like an asshole for being mad at her. Just wanted to see Jack do his thing on the guitar.
