I have went a little bonkers over the last few months.
Ok, a lot bonkers.
Time to open a hip museum soon?

Short answer: almost everything I could get my hands on.
Long answer: First I set out to be a vinyl completist, and bought all of the singles. Including extras in case I needed trade bait. Then I found myself buying promo CD singles. Casettes. Backstage passes. Setlists. Ticket stubs. Why? A great question that is occasionally asked.
In the past I had bought every poster from shows I attended. A few years ago I ran out of wallspace/frame funds and decided to only buy posters I loved, selling many after deciding I would never frame them. After the announcement I experienced sellers remorse and went on a quest to recover the posters I parted with.
Shortly after that, a couple cool/rare posters appeared from shows way before my time, and with the post-MMP tour excitement/emotion I decided not to pass on the opportunity. What if they were one of a kind and never appeared again? It has been a very slippery slope from there. A steeper slope than I imagined.
A few hipbasers I have chatted with know of my rudimentary plans to eventually exhibit the collection. Possibly the weekend of Aug 20 2017? Maybe a longer engagement depending on what is available, and the cost. When I have some time to collect my thoughts I plan to post a thread asking for suggestions and feedback.
For now, most of it remains in sealed envelopes/boxes from all over North America and Europe. My attempt at a unique take on the "grand opening" concept.
