Wow, 2009 just wasn't that great of a year for music

For my taste 2009 was probably the best of the decade.

I find that people who get to see him live become fans very quickly. He is a very personable, funny and engaging performer. And if you find his stuff too folkly give Down at the Khyber a try. Great album, that is where is started becoming a fan.

I saw him live with the Emergency and couldn't stand him. Figured he was just having an off show but every single 'single' I've heard since then (I'll admit I've only heard the singles) has been terrible. shrug
