From what I can gather, it's the 2017 holiday Ten Club single. So perhaps my hopes of a new album are premature.
It's like when they released "Ole!" in 2011, I think - although this is ten times the song that "Ole!" was ("Ole!" might be the worst Pearl Jam song of all-time, and that's including "My Father's Son").
Surprised to see all the love for the song on here, seeing as on both YouTube and Facebook it’s getting so much hate. It’s not what I was expecting, but I don’t mind it.
Pearl Jam played its first show in a year-and-a-half yesterday and they totally and utterly killed it - I checked out a Periscope for part of the set and they sounded frigging fantastic. "Come Back" was dedicated to Chris Cornell; Matt was wearing a Chris Cornell shirt; not sure if anything else was said or done, but I'd imagine it's still too hard for Ed to talk about (let alone Matt, Stone, and Jeff...). Can't wait for Chicago.

I don't think it's the best thing they've ever done, but I like the punky protest vibe and the unhinged vocal from Ed. This song wouldn't sound out of place on an album like No Code or Riot Act. Considering the current U.S. political climate, I predict this is gonna be an angry album.
