Anybody make any? Stores are closed on Sundays here in Nova Scotia, so I couldn't do any shopping...

Funny you should mention the LCD Lance. Bought one myself, an NEC 17 incher for just under $300, which was about an $100 discount. However, it was urgent, as my old monitor stopped functioning last week, so there was no option but to buy one.

Also bought a DVD (dead man walking for $6).

There is no way I would ever go shopping on Boxing Day - I would kill too many people Smile
Personally, it just isn't worth it. These "Boxing Day Sales" last for weeks after Christmas anyways.
Here in Winnipeg every Boxing Day, there is a furniture store that sells one oak dining room table set for 99% off and people always freak out about it and camp out by the store. Is it really worth it people? You have to be partially insane and extremely patient to shop on Boxing day.
People were also crying here about the Sunday shopping hours and they wanted to extend these hours so the stores could open before noon. How can 6 hours not be enough time to shop? They should be thankful there is even Sunday shopping to begin with.

People were lined up outside best buy here in Ottawa at 2:30 in the morning! That's just insane. Personally, I stay home and veg on Boxing Day, but a new widescreen HDTV has found its way into our house...

Not a bad deal at all. Do you play any games?

No, I'm not much of a gamer aside from the occasional pick up of the new instalment in the NHL or Madden series.

i play most pc games and i got a cube for christmas to complete my collection (gee, you cant tell i work in a games store can u?). Im still playing half-life 2 which looks amazing on a nice big monitor... counter strike source is a nice little addition. I want to get into WOW but just dont have the time right now.. what are u playing guys?

btw.. EA will own everything unless someone stops them.. like the NBA did when they said no to exclusive player rights. For those who dont know Electronic Arts bought the rights to use NFL player names in their games and in THEIR games ONLY. Thus putting SEGA in a really tough place. And if anyone plays madden 2005 their are so many cheaters online that you cant play.. i gave up... and actually there are glitches while playing vs computer as well... if you want to know them just ask.

i had to take a home theatre speaker in for repair in regina yesterday and was talking to a salesman who told me there was a guy waiting outside the store at 10:00pm christmas night for opening boxing day, and when they opened the doors at 8:00am ,the winter suit he was wearing got caught on the door as about 50 people ran by him to snag up all the crazily low priced door crashers, serves him right

The Seinfeld DVDs and Season 5 of the Simpsons. I haven't drifted too far from the television since.

I'm with Shannon. Stay home and let the other's fight it out.

I spent part of the day on Green's Creek toboggan run. There was a lot of screaming, squealing, and giggling...

Oh yeah, and my son had fun too!
