For a little more background on this piece of performance art Mav is putting together take a listen to the below podcast. It goes into more detail on this show and what he is trying to accomplish with his performance and it is a cool listen for much more Hip related content.

Just curious who else from here is attending this. MAv will have some framed images for sale. I’m looking forward to hearing about some of MAv’s experiences with the band and wondering who else may show up to jam.

I would have loved to attend but hemmed and hawed based on having a newborn and the $75 sticker shock. Looks like its sold out now. Wife permitting, Id be happy to meet up with hipbasers for a beer and my "HipTour" of meaningful spots around town.

So, that was pretty incredible. A great narrative by David, as he showed pictures and video, all while trying to explain what it all meant and means to him. Each of the songs had a reason behind it. A lot to think about and reflect on, as I look back on my own Hip story (or hipstory).

Set list:
Fully Completely - Chris Koster
Opiated - Gord Sinclair
Things I should have said - Paul Langlois
The Hideout - Sarah Harmer
The Rock (Depression Suite) - Jim Bryson
Relentless - Max Kerman with Paul Langlois
Inevitability of death - Gord Sinclair
Bobcaygeon - Paul Langlois
Love over money - Andy Maize and Josh Finlayson
