In case anyone missed it. Smile

Okay, it's an honorary Pulitzer, rather than the actual Pulitzer Prize for Music. But it's also the first Pulitzer for a musician outside classical and jazz.

Now he just needs the Nobel.

If a former politician can win a Nobel Peace prize for a propoganda documentary film, Bob Dylan is overqualified for a Nobel.

Dylan is coming to Moncton this summer, i've never seen him live before & would love to. Unfortnately (well it's actually a good thing) i'm already going to quite a few shows this summer outside of PEI, so i'm still undecided.

He's not up for the Peace Prize.

It's the Nobel Prize for Literature that some people are pushing for.

Well, being that he is arguably the most influential songwriter of the 20th century, I'd say he's more than qualified for that prize. :thumb: His songs are studied on schools just as written books are studied so, yeah, the people pushing for it are justified in their efforts.
