I was wondering, maybe somebody that has been to these 2 clubs can comment if these venues are good, or crap for concerts!
Either: The Horseshow Tavern, or Lee's Palace ??
Reason i am asking, is because i wanna go check out JPE, and these are his Toronto dates!
thanks

Lee's Palace is much better suited to viewing a show, in that there are good sightlines from pretty much every spot in the club. The celings are high, maybe 20 feet, and the stage is fairly big/elevated.
The Horseshow is small, dark and cramped - awesome for a sweaty rock show, but the sightlines are crap, the stage is small and low to the ground, and the layout is not that conducive to watching a show.
Making it to the washroom at either venue is a bit of a task in that you have to make it to the door, and then tackle a flight of stairs. (For what it's worth, the bathroom at The Horseshoe is much nicer/bigger/cleaner than Lee's.
Both venues have good sound systems.
Lots of historical musical significance at both venues.
My choice is Lee's Palace.

Both are great, Historically the 'Shoe has more nostalgia tied to it, cool pictures on the wall. sound is great most of the time, I saw JPE there a couple of years ago and was great.
Lee's is a great venue with a good vibe as well. Saw the Hip there a couple of years ago.
Been to both many times, never been disappointed in either.
