Absolutely. I love this although seems to me you need a fairly large community to get any decent speeds. I posted here a couple months ago referring people to the BT homepage. Sure would love to see some seeds up.
If anyone is thinking about seeding a show with BT, you can also link it at Alistair MacLean's site at smiler.no-ip.org. He has said that he's willing to host the torrent files and links for people. Has the advantage of getting more people exposed to the link. Also, it would be a great idea to post a link to the etrade listserve. This gets a whole nother community, mostly focused on Dead spinoff bands like phish, panic, etc, into the hip scene. I'm sending out BNPs of the stuff I pulled off the mirror server the other day to etree as well as here.
